Community Eligibility Provision Letter

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,

We are pleased to announce that Hollister Charter School will be participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year!

What does this mean for your family?

Under the CEP program, ALL enrolled students at Hollister Charter School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at NO COST every school day.

Key Details for Families:

  • No Household Applications Needed: You do not need to fill out a traditional Free and Reduced-Price Meal application for your child(ren) to receive free meals.
  • Equal Access: Every student enrolled at a CEP site receives the same nutritious breakfast and lunch options at no charge.
  • A la Carte / Extra Items: Please note that while full meals are completely free, extra individual food items or single milk purchases (outside of a full meal) may still require a small payment if offered.

Optional Income / Benefit Surveys

In order to maintain federal funding for other critical educational programs (such as Title I, technology funding, and instructional resources), we may ask families to complete an Alternative Income Form or Household Economic Survey. This form is quick, strictly confidential, and ensures our schools continue receiving essential funding. Completing this form is not required for your child to receive free meals.
