Hollister Charter School, District #647 offers, free of charge, special education and 504 services to those students who meet federal and state requirements. All information regarding a student’s ability level is confidential and protected through the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Child Find is a component of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) that requires states to identify, locate, and evaluate all children with disabilities who are in need of special education and related services.
If you have concerns about your child’s development—including speech, movement, behavior, or learning skills—please contact our school office. We provide screenings and evaluations at no cost to families to determine if a child is eligible for services.
