School Bus Driver (Part-Time)
Hollister Charter School – Hollister, Idaho
Hollister Charter School is seeking reliable and responsible part-time School Bus Drivers to join our team. Our drivers play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our students to and from school and various events. If you’re committed to student safety and providing a welcoming ride experience, we encourage you to apply!
Appropriate endorsements are preferred, but not required.
Position Details:
- Position: School Bus Driver
- Location: Hollister, Idaho
- Schedule: Part-Time; 20+ hours per week (we guarantee four hours per day), Monday – Friday (Typically 6:30-8:30 AM and 3:00-5:00 PM M-Th; 1:30-3:30 on Fridays)
- Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour + monthly attendance bonus available
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school, field trips, and special events
- Follow designated routes and adhere to a time schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers
- Report incidents, delays, or mechanical issues to the transportation coordinator
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record
- CDL with Class B endorsement
- Passenger (P) endorsement
- School Bus (S) endorsement
- Strong knowledge of Idaho traffic laws and safety standards
- Ability to manage students while ensuring a calm and safe bus environment
