Countdown to Day One: September 9th!
We can’t wait to see all of our students back in the building! Here is everything you need to know.
- Schedule: School starts at 8:20 AM and lets out at 3:25 PM.
- Morning Arrival: The building opens at 8:00 AM. Students have three options in the morning:
- Breakfast
- Classroom reading/work
- Playground(Note: After 8:25 AM, students will be marked tardy.)
- Importance of Attendance: Every school day is an opportunity for learning, growth, and connection! Consistent attendance not only keeps your child on track academically and socially, but it also directly impacts our school’s funding and resources. Please help us give your child the best start to the year by prioritizing on-time daily attendance.
- Arrival & Dismissal Locations:
- Drop-off: All students should be dropped off at the Main Entrance.
- Pick-up: Afternoon pickup will continue to be at the Gym Glass Doors.(The school needs to be notified by 3:00 PM if student transportation changes from their scheduled routine.)
- Bus Details: Please verify your student’s bus schedule by checking your email inbox or logging into the BusRight app. (Emails will be coming out this week. If do not received an email by the end of the week or need help with the BusRight app, please contact the school.)
- After-School Program Update: Note that our after-school program will not start on the first day of school. It will officially begin on September 21st. A sign-up form will be sent out soon for interested families. (Please note: Bus transportation is not provided for the after-school program.)

Important Updates & Announcements
- Parking Lot: Construction has concluded and lines are painted. Please follow the arrows as you enter and exit. Buses will not be using the main parking lot this year. Please do not block the alley or park in the north gravel parking lot.
- Cell Phones: Cell phones must remain in students’ backpacks while at school and on the bus. Students are allowed to check in with parents and listen to music on the bus. No videos or pictures are allowed on the bus.
- Smart Watches:To maintain a focused learning environment, please review our smartwatch guidelines:
- Classroom Use: Smartwatches must remain in silent mode. Calling, texting, gaming, or browsing during class is not permitted.
- Parent Contact: Please call the main office for urgent messages rather than contacting your child’s watch directly.
- Testing: Smartwatches must be put away during all tests and assessments.
- Responsibility: Students are responsible for their devices; the school is not liable for lost or damaged items.
If guidelines are not followed, the devices will be stored in the main office and must be picked up by a parent or guardian.
Meal Prices:
- Lunch: Reduced: $0.40 | Student: $3.80 | Adult: $5.30
- Breakfast: Reduced: $0.30 | Student: $2.70 | Adult: $5.10
- Milk: $0.75
Accounts will need to be kept current. Access accounts through our student information system, Infinite Campus. Updates will be sent weekly. Statements will be sent monthly.
A NOTE FROM TEACHERS:
We are so excited to kick off a fantastic new school year! To help us protect valuable learning time while still making sure every single student feels special on their big day, we are starting a fun new tradition: School-Wide Monthly Birthday Parties!
Each classroom will host their own special party instead of individual parties throughout the month and celebrate all of that month’s birthdays during one big and joyous celebration.
All monthly birthday parties will take place at 3:00 PM on these specific dates:
- September: Monday September 29th
- October: Monday October 26th
- November: Monday November 30th
- December: Monday December 14th
- January: Monday January 25th
- February: Monday February 22nd
- March: Monday March 29th
- April: Monday April 26th
- May: Monday May 17th (Celebrating May, June, July, and August summer birthdays!)
These designated days will be the only times we celebrate treats for birthdays at school, so please mark your calendars! If you’d like to send in a treat for your child’s birthday month, you are more than welcome to bring or send it in on their scheduled celebration day.
If you do decide to bring treats, please double-check with your child’s teacher about student numbers and any allergies in the room so everyone can safely join in on the fun.
