February 2026 Newsletter
Dear Families and Community Members,
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to St. Luke’s Mobile Mammogram for taking the time to come out and offer mammograms to our community members. Their dedication to accessible healthcare and early detection made a meaningful impact, and we are truly grateful for their service and support of our community.

With the colder morning weather, whenever you see the orange cone out front, please drop off your student at the gym. They will be entering in the foyer with the glass door. We will be having indoor recess on these days. Be aware of the Buses, they will also drop students off at the gym.
February activities.
Cookie Dough sales are underway and will run until February 13th. Contact a student to place an order.
February 11th is Project Presentation Night at 6 pm at the school. On this night, parents and families will come to school to hear students present what they have learned and created in their unit of study. They will be giving individual presentations helping develop public speaking and presentation skills; and to build community. (Required Event)
February is American Heart Month. We will be working with the American Heart Association on our Kids Heart Challenge (Tuesday February 10 – Friday March 6.) Watch for information coming home with the students and posts on our facebook page.
February 13th we are celebrating Valentine’s Day. Class parties will start at 1:00pm. Please contact your students’ teacher for details on their activities. We are encouraging students to bring a decorated valentine box from home. If a student is in need of supplies please let the office know.
February 27th we will be having an oral hygiene class. Thank you Brooke Lanting for volunteering for this class.
Student Bus Cards: It is important that students have their bus cards when riding the bus.
This ensures student count and tracking. The BusRight parent app provides parents with real-time GPS tracking of school buses, live ETA’s and customizable notifications. There will be a $15.00 charge to replace lost or misplaced cards.
